What gets a reply first

• A calculator gave the wrong answer. These go to the top of the queue. Include the figures you entered, the result you got and the result you expected — and if it came from a real invoice or loading plan, say so, because that is the evidence that settles it.
• A published figure is out of date. Divisors and tare weights change. If you have seen a newer official figure, a link to the source is enough.
• A calculator that ought to exist and does not. Tell us what you currently work out by hand or in a spreadsheet. That is usually the best guide to what is missing.

What will not get a reply

Guest post offers, link exchange proposals, requests to place sponsored content, and offers to write articles. The content here is written by the person named on the who writes this page, and that is not going to change.

Response time

This site is maintained alongside a full-time job, so replies take days rather than hours. Corrections to a calculator are acted on as soon as they are verified, whether or not there has been time to reply.
